Note that levels 4 and 5 are intended to be two year programmes.
This course is 4MAT with Daniel.
We will build on your foundational skills in Mathematics and empower you to solve real-world mathematics problems.
This class covers Angles, 2D and 3D shapes, Bearings and Directions, and Perimeter, Area and Volume.
This class will be taught in a way that emphasises creative thinking, working together to solve problems, and applications in real world contexts. The topics above are very useful for navigation, building and construction, and real life in general.
This course requires an open mind, and some understanding of units of measurement and other skills from 4MAT.
You will need an exercise book or a laptop/Chromebook to write in or on. A device would be useful for digital activities to support your maths learning.
Please note that there are two 4MAT classes in this colour block. We will do our best to give everyone their first choice, but may need to shuffle across the classes to balance numbers.
