Measurey maths and shapey stuff - what's your angle?

Time to pull out the stopwatches, scales, thermometers and measuring tape. In Term two we will cover the topics of measurement and geometry - what can we measure, how can we measure it and how accurate are our measurements?
We will also use our measurements to do some calculations of areas and perimeters and volumes.

At the end of term we will do some work with maps and also look at geometry and geometric transformations

This course will focus more on practical measurement than text-based calculations.

From a financial literacy perspective we will look at rates - currency exchange, pay, taxes, budgeting, borrowing and saving.
