Note that levels 4 and 5 are intended to be two year programmes.
In this Phase 3 Maths class, we’ll explore statistics and number through practical, hands-on learning. We’ll collect and analyse our own data, revise fractions, percentages and other key number skills, and build confidence with everyday maths. There’ll also be opportunities to collect data off-site, play maths games, solve challenges and have some fun along the way!
This course is for learners working at Phase 3 of the NZ Curriculum. We will practice perseverance, problem-solving, and a positive mindset as students grow as capable and confident mathematicians.
A Math book and pencil case including pencil, rubber and ruler are required.
