Note that levels 4 and 5 are intended to be two year programmes.
This course is generally restricted to Year 12 and 13 students and others with permission. It's purpose is to support students to pass the numeracy co-requisite assessment, which is mandatory to gain any NCEA qualification. It is not designed to support a pathway into further study in Mathematics.
In Term 4, my goal for this course is to take on student input and create a relaxed and safe space where students can continue to work on their Maths or pursue self-directed learning. We largely covered key skills in the first three terms, so will focus on applying our knowledge to problems in real life contexts. There are no more opportunities to attempt the co-requisite exam in 2026.
