Note that levels 4 and 5 are intended to be two year programmes.
This is the course signup for all 4MAT courses in purple block. That's Daniel, Lindsay, and Kay/Jonathan's classes. Students will be distributed among the different classes based on their current learning needs and curriculum level, similar to last term.
In this class, we’ll learn about statistics through practical, hands-on learning. We will learn how to collect and analyse data, how to show our data on different graphs, and how to draw possible conclusions based on that data. We will also learn how to understand statistics in the everyday world, and how we can form our own judgments and conclusions about the data that we see.
We will continue practice problem-solving, perseverance, key numeracy skills, and a positive mindset as students grow into capable and confident mathematicians.
