No Calculator? No Problem! Mental Maths with Art Benjamin

Art Benjamin is a mathemagician that teaches anyone how to do Maths faster than a calculator. We will follow his instructions and carry out practice by working through workbook chapters. This will hugely improve your numeracy skills in a short period of time. All you need to be able to do is add, subtract, multiply and divide single digit numbers and know and practice his tricks.

Week 7 and 8 will focus on preparation for the new NCEA Numeracy co-requisite at Level 5 of the curriculum. However, the learning will still be relevant to you if you are not sitting this assessment in Week 8 or later this year.
