Mathematics & Statistics
Document outlining 2024 Mathematics plan.
Note that levels 4 and 5 are intended to be two year programmes.
This course is specifically for Year 12 and 13 students who currently have not yet achieved their 10 numeracy credits at NCEA Level 1.
This course will be set up in a flipped learning environment, this means that you as a student can decide which internal achievement standards you need/want to work towards each term. You will also be able to work through the content at your own pace. However, there is the expectation that you sit at least one assessment per term and that you will submit work every two weeks for review by me.
The achievement standards you will be able to choose from are:
Achievement standard | Number of Credits |
AS91026 1.1 Number | 4 Credits |
AS91030 1.5 Measurement | 3 Credits |
AS91038 1.13 Investigate Elements of Chance | 3 Credits |
AS90935 1.1 Physics Practical Investigation | 4 Credits |
You can visit my NUMERACY GOOGLE SITE to see what each standard involves :)
