This course will be taught by both Jess & Mattias.
Every Monday you will have Jess taking you to explore the exciting and interesting world of Statistics and Probability!
Keen to up your skills in Board Games and school your friends using ?
Causation or Correlation?
These questions and more will be answered as we learn about the element of chance and the probability of a certain event occurring.
We will also delve into statistical investigations and the PPDAC Cycle. Some questions we we will look to answer are:
How do we go about collecting data?
What types of data are there and how do we then use this data to draw conclusions?
How do I effectively communicate the results to an audience?
On Wednesdays & Thursdays, Mattias will cover key measurement skills which includes perimeter, area and volume calculations of different shapes as well as trigonometry. We will be using Education Perfect as a learning platform.
