Genetic Variation and Adaptations

In the first 2 weeks of this term we will finish off the practical biology investigation internal that we started in term 2.

Then we will start to work on our second external which will focus on genetic variation. This leads on from the the Level 1 achievement standard and starts to look at what happens when inheritance isn't quite as simple as Level 1 lead us to believe. We will also investigate what happens when more than one allele is inherited at the same time. This will lead on to genetic variation in species and how species change over time.

During the last part of the term we will complete the adaptations internal.
